Sometimes when you have the coordinates it becomes obvious.
Let's have 'em Wango
53° 22' 28.1" N, 2° 7' 20.2" W
family? I prefer to keep that one to myself for now, you keen observist
Whatever it is, it has something to do with Manchester I think. (I know it is some distance but I have my reasons for saying this).
It's awesome to have a wild imagination.
I am never bored.
*Correction, Manchester has something to do with IT.
I DID find THIS in wiki: In 1750, John Wesley preached in Bullock Smithy describing it as "... one of the most famous villages in the county for all manner of wickedness."
P.S. I will never know tho, will I?
sometimes with these games, I invite my husband jim to have a looksee. Often he will say something non-sensical which later becomes dead accurate.
He hates being wrong too.
So far he tells me: Upstairs window to the left. That room. (he is referencing the picture.)
Also he pointed to the little oval thing on the upper right corner of the house. What IS that?
Oh and he thinks something significant and sobering was written there.
I don't know how this fits in but the name alone makes me pause. In my crowd, a grove might indicate a clutch of fruit trees but more likely it is a place to gain knowledge. Now I must look into Hazel and discover what properties it was known to have.
Did you know that most of the Witch Hazel in the states is produced in my hometown?
The Factory is on a ley line
*so it would seem that the Hazel plant or bush is used for a lot of different medicine, and of course, produces those creamy fatty nuts found in Nutella.
But it is also prized for the magickal protective properties it is believed to possess. I wonder if the Hamlet was once over planted with the stuff in response to the relentless activity in the area? You must have been at an intersection rather than just a line is my guess.
in the beginning, I said more than one unhappy event occurred there. I was hedging but now I don't give a shit if I am wrong or not so...
At least one suicide, maybe two.
There was something that could adjust the personality of some individuals for a short time. Others seemed to lose hope living there.
Funny because the address looks sought after.
My guess is that Wango was at school or something and this served as a kind of off-campus dorm. It looks like a private residence though. I don't think Wango lived with her immediate family because I get the sense of a little partying going on in that place. Nothing wild, but unlikely to be condoned by parents.
So that is all I can contribute. If I have hit over 50% of it right I will be over the moon. But either way, it was fun to stretch my mind these past few days.
I love to unroll my imagination.
Really good stuff JJ.. I'll be back later and will address the percentages and thank you btw
By the way, even when this game is done, I will put that address/location on my desk because it fits in with some of my other research
