Is someone holding a gun to your head? If not, I have a solution:
    Step off, little one

it occurs to me that you can attend the event without being physically present. But it will be a gas if you can make it

There are a lot of deer in my local. I like to drive the back roads, bearing in mind, that a Buck or Doe with twins, might suddenly leap in front of me.
One bounced off of my hood once, but I was driving slow, and he sprang away.
No doubt, sporting an ugly bruise.
There is a route I have been driving, abundant with wildlife.
Often I see whole herds of Deer in the fields bordering that country road.
Today we had a fresh snow, maybe 5 inches of powder. And I needed to drive that route.
I cruised the frozen pavement and admired the countryside.
Glassy with ice from a recent storm, it covered trees, grass, and brush.
    It's cold as fuck here.
A young four-point Buck appeared next to my car. He gamboled beside me.
Almost to the end of Valley Falls Road.
He kicked up the fresh snow all the way. We traveled together for perhaps a quarter mile. I kept my eyes on him and slowed to a stop when he turned left, in front of me, to disappear into the woods on the other side.
Even though he was young, we understood each other perfectly.
